Acupuncture involves inserting very thin needles into special points on your body that are chosen based on your individual health concerns. Most people expect needles to be quite painful; however, the needles are extremely thin. You may feel a slight pinch upon insertion of the needles or nothing at all. Once the needles are inserted, most people experience a deep sense of relaxation and many fall asleep.
